[nflug] KDE Panel AWOL

Easy solution
boot to a text console.  login,  run "rm -rf .kde*"
logout, log back in and restart X , you'll get a fresh KDE session...

Note this blows away any customized personal KDE settings you have,  but it's
the easiest..
