[nflug] Flashplayer 9 Ubuntu 6.10

Just a hunch... Check to see if you have xgl installed and running.  It could be Xgl or xgl.  It's truly incomatible with flash and will cause random crashes if it's running.

I'm on Edgy with Flash 9 with no problems. How did you install it? What 
is the output of "sudo dpkg -l | grep flash"?
