I would have suggested the card reader option as well but didn't because
of an instance once with a Kodak camera a client had. The card had the
jpeg files on it but if the card was read without the camera, you could
see the files but it would not render the picture. If you plugged in the
camera with the memory card in it, the pictures could then be seen fine
from the usb card icon that popped up on the desktop. The pics could
then be copied to the pc and they were fine to copy around and edit,
etc.. So that camera was doing something to the jpeg structure of the
files so that they could only be rendered via the camera. The camera
used the smaller sd card. Ever since then I was leery of using the
memory sticks by themselves.
