bttv tuner card try number 2

Well i changed my modprobe.conf file to look like this
alias char-major-81-0 saa7134
options saa7134 card=2 radio=1
options tuner type=2
and now when i run xawtv -hwscan i get this
/dev/video0: OK [ -device /dev/video0 ]
type : v4l2
name : LifeView FlyVIDEO3000
flags: overlay capture tuner
but tvtime wont show any channels (no signal) however it will let me
change the blank channels...for some reason i doubt that my card is a
LifeView FlyVIDEO3000 - this could be the problem but i thought id try
the over avermedia numbers to see what would work
45 -> AVERMEDIA_307 (didnt work)
46 -> AVERMEDIA_CARDBUS (didnt work)
52 -> AVERMEDIA_305 (didnt work)
33 -> AVerMedia DVD EZMaker
Now the only thing I could think of why it wont be working (xawtv
-hwscan identified each card correctly with the above card #) would be
the tuner. I got the cardlist off line but where do I get the tuner
types? I cant find the kernel docs on my machine. Hopefully one of the
above and the correct tuner type will get this to work.
