You can just use pptp server on linux, which is the the default vpn protocol
and software as windows xp or higher..

We use it all the time. it's built right into windows, and very easy to
use..

Subject: [nflug] VPN Setup questions

I am currently setting up at work a SonicWALL SSL-VPN
2000 that allows users only a to use a standard Web
browser, users can easily and securely access e-mail,
files, intranets, applications and other resources on
the corporate LAN from any location. Because there's
no need for a pre-installed or "fat" VPN client. Users
are given an IP address to log in to the ssl vpn. Is
there a way of doing this setting up a Linux portal
the same way the Sonicwall vpn works without using
this type of appliance and not have to install any vpn
clients on the users pc? Any suggestions? Thanks!
