why no forums?

I am no mail admin or web admin, but it sounds to me like you might have 
a start on what Darin hopes to accomplish. ;-)
Darin said he would return JUNE 8th. I think you should contact him.

Regarding the site, I think it's great to have an additional resource 
available. I generally have quicker and more useful responses from the 
NFLUG list than from any of the several user forums I'm in, but judging 
by the traffic volume of the NFLUG list, it would allow us to share the 
wealth of knowledge and experience that is NFLUG with Linux users 
through out the web. One thing that comes immediately to mind is the 
"Mozilla Questions" messages lately. I find that replies are slower to 
come in the Mozillazine forums than they are in the Knoppix forums, 
though I bet there are more people that use Gecko based browsers than 
there are that use Knoppix.

I'm going to start collecting links to all the live linux CD's I've 
tested out, to submit to the site. I think that live linux is a great 
painless way to expose Windows users, and will be one of the paths to 
the "Great Linux Desktop Migration" to come.
