Yes- You'll need to recreate it. If you want it to stay, cd to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts and edit the appropriate file.

I just added an IP address to the Fedora Core 3 server that I set up
and I was wondering if I have to reenter the alias after a reboot. I
dont think I should have too but I am just checking to make sure. The
command I used was

ifconfig eth0:1 ipaddress up
