Yes, it could but then again I have not seen the unit
myself, so I'm only going by what you stated in your 
email. 

Pete, is right. Check to so if all is correctly
connected, and everything is correctly placed
(seated). 
To get into the BIO's try the F1 or F2 key if the Del
key won't work.

I would take him up on his offer and it over to his
shop if your still then in doubt.
