[nflug] issues with starting a comptuer

Well it sounds like one of two issues, one condensation was on the motherboard and shorted it out, or two you just bought your first eBay special. The cost alone of returning it would make it no bargen. As to the first opinion, you should have unpacked it and let it alone till the next day after it dried out. Keeping it near a heat vent would be the worst thing to do. The shock of cold circuits suddenly  being heated up by hot air could have also caused damage. You should have left it alone and kept it away from heat and just let it dry out. After it came to room temperature overnight would have been the best time to test it. You need to learn more about the hardware as much as you do about the software. I've came across meany people that are well versed in software, but need to use common sense when handling hardware. Don't take this the wrong way, but it happens. The joy of unpacking and playing with the new toy is hard to resist, and some people learn the hard way.
