If it's a prism54 based card, it should just work in any newer kernel. Make
sure that you have the prism54 driver loaded. I have a NetGear WG511 that
works perfectly. You will have to download the latest microcode for the device
and stuff it into /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/isl3890. That way, the prism54
driver can find it and stuff it into the card.

There is also a program called 'prismstumbler' that will work with that chip
set that allows you to locate wireless networks ala` the windows 'netstumbler'
program.

Let me know if you need help.

Cheers!

Bob

I recieved your post.

Do you know how to get a DWL-G650 working natively in Fecora Core 2 instead of
through the NDIS Wrapper?

Hello,
I have not received any posts since 2004-Oct-07, which is unusual,
so I'm sending this test post.
