I haven't experienced this problem on my RedHat 8.0 computers, but
others raise concerns about fonts, and what's installed on my 2
computers may make the difference. However, I will suggest another very
high quality word processor to try - AbiWord. I always use RTF for all
documents I create, send, and post, and this program handles this file
type well. It also does a good job with Word documents.
