Big disk/filesystem issues...

This was a great idea, but alas.. I yanked the drive and put it on an ide bus and my data is still in limbo.. Anyone have any other ideas?

P.S. Hmm.. Maybe advanced data recovery techniques would be a good subject for Sunday's meeting.  :-)

just to make sure it isnt a problem with USB, pull the drive out of the case
and plug it into a native IDE port and try and mount/e2fsck it there.
