Michael,
    Thank you.  I feel like an ass! I could have sworn I checked fstab.  
The problem is fixed, I was able to change ownership and the little lock 
is gone in konqueror window and i can open the folder BUT, the data is 
not showing up.  Even using a terminal window I can't see any of the 
data.  I booted into windows to verify the data was there and that the 
partition is actually NTFS and it was and is.  Your thoughts?
