PCI IDE Card

ok, this seems to be going on and on now. Jason's wanted to know if his
mobo could boot off of an ide controller other than the onboard mobo's.
I was pointing out how to get the mobo to boot from the add-on ide
controller. If the only drive he has working will be on this add-on ide
controller card, the mobo has to take him there first, before
Lilo/Grub/whatever takes over. The mobo has to know where to look for
the boot record (Lilo/Grub) first, so if his mobo has no scsi setting in
the boot sequence, then his mobo will not see the drive and the
Lilo/Grub therein.
