I've had nothing but GOOD luck with Gigabyte products. However, I only
buy their intel boards. I know Rob is not an intel person. Anyways, I'm
on my fourth gigabyte motherboard, no issues in the 11 years I've been
using them. And when I build my "DOOM 3" machine this year, it will
likely have a Gigabyte motherboard.

No one has answered this question. Unfortunately, I have never bought a
preinstalled Linux machine, so I can't either.
