Google for "Newbie's Linux Manual".  I found it somewhere in zipped HTML 
for down load - maybe at Linux docs.
That was  my next step after "Linux for Dummies".  It helped make man 
pages make more sense.  
After that, I went to O'Reily's "Running Linux", you can't go wrong 
there, any O'Reily is a winner, and they've written one for any subject 
you care to name - I found a used copy for half the price  of a new one.
Then I got  "Rute's Linux Users Tutorial" , which really helped after 
reading O'Reily.

There are always SAMBA questions posted to the list; I think it must be 
one of the hardest things to get working, though I've never had to try 
it personally.
