CPU/MB problem? Which one?

Well, if you'd like to swing by my place, I can certainly poke at it
and find out. In the meantime, I would suggest removing the BIOS
battery, then hitting the power button a couple times. I've seen this
happen a couple times before, and if it's not a hardware failure, it's
a grounding or BIOS issue. (Ok, so that covers a lot of ground, but
yeah)
