MythTV ??? Which tuner?

My apologies for my earlier post. It's been a long time since I needed
had to work on my mythbox. ;)

I would suggest trying to things, for debugging purposes:

1) Verify that the feed from your cable line is working. Try plugging it
into a TV, or another tuner.

2) Since the PVR250 produces audio & video on the card itself, you can
capture video directly from video0 from /dev to center in on the problem.

# cat /dev/video0 > /myth/test1.mpg

this should produce a good mpeg file that you can view with mplayer, or
from a windows box. If you can get a valid picture, then myth is your
culprit. If you are still getting snow, then it's either the modules, or
the cable line.

My question is this-- How can you tell what tuner is on that card? It's set to the default 2 (phillips ntsc) but it's obviously not right.

As seen on bash.org:
The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there
should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't
we just take the safety labels off of everything and let
the problem solve itself?
