Help with compiling

Yep.  Typically, when I install a machine, I select individual packages to make
sure that I get all of the devel stuff.  If you don't have the X includes, then
you didn't install the XFree86 devel (probably among others).  You're going to
have to use the Mandrake Control Center to find the packages that you're going
to need to install.  Normally, you will get file names from the compile like
'X.h' or some other stuff.  In the 'Install Software' portion of the control
center, tell it to find that file and it will identify the package that it's
in.  Then install the package (and all of the dependancies) and try again.
