OK. Here's what I have now in /usr/lib/mozilla-1.5/plugins/java2:

[bigbird at localhost java2]$ ls -l
total 60
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Oct 29 01:32 bin/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 916 Mar 15 2002 CHANGES
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 446 Mar 15 2002 ControlPanel.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4003 Mar 15 2002 COPYRIGHT
drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 4096 Oct 29 01:32 lib/
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 73 Nov 2 12:05
libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.5/plugins/java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 11377 Mar 15 2002 LICENSE
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Oct 29 01:32 man/
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Oct 29 01:32 plugin/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10186 Mar 15 2002 README
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 759 Mar 15 2002 Welcome.html

So, the plugin lives in
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.5/plugins/java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so.
There is a symlink to it in /usr/lib/mozilla-1.5/plugins/java2 and one
in /usr/lib/mozilla-1.5/plugins.

When I go to the website, it still wants to download the plug-in.

Did I still get something wrong?

In just two days, tomorrow will be yesterday.
