I've got a different tuner card in now and I don't need the "tuner
type=2" option any longer, but that is what I used to need, here is a
copy of my current /etc/modules.conf file for reference;
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
alias char-major-13 emu10k1-gp
post-install char-major-13 /sbin/modprobe emu10k1-gp
alias char-major-81 bttv
alias usb-controller usb-uhci
alias eth0 tulip
alias char-major-195 NVdriver
