I'm sorry, I misread the problem. You want to be able to use your history
from one Eterm in a new Eterm next without exiting the first?

Try this (had to read that evil tcsh manpage :( ):
In first Eterm:

history -S

In second Eterm:

history -L

(history -w in bash for anyone curious)

I do seem to remember the O'Reilly Unix Power Tools book commenting on a
problem with tcsh in this respect, but the book is at work right now. If
it is of any relevance, I can post the info tommorrow.
