Dual boot

Lilo is still looking for hdb (Linux), sees it's not
there and does nothing. It doesn't automatically go to
plan B ( windows ). You'd still have to tell it to do
that. 
Telling Lilo to look to hda for a boot image is the
best option. Try my previous intructions and you
should be good to go. Booting linux from a floppy is a
step backwards and painfully slow. At that point why
bother w/ linux at all?  Either you want a dual boot
or you don't. If you don't, then by all means fdisk
/mbr 
and be done w/ it!
