Thank.  I am trying hard.
xawtv:
Looked in /etc/XF86Config - no modules at all. Looked in XF86Config-4
found modules, but no DRI.

bttv:
Looked at Kernel - looks the same to me

[root at localhost X11]# uname -r
2.4.21-0.11mdk

[root at localhost X11]# ls -l /usr/src
total 8
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           20 Apr  7 18:34 linux ->
linux-2.4.21-0.11mdk/
drwxr-xr-x   18 root     root         4096 Apr  7 18:33 linux-2.4.21-0.11mdk/
drwxr-xr-x    7 root     root         4096 Mar 23 10:00 RPM/
[root at localhost X11]#

Didn't know enough to go further with your instructions.

Thanks.   Joe
