Tar problems

It's a two month old HP DLT 80vs tape drive, I had it replaced once, this
is the first time I'm trying to do a restore off of it. The first drive
was erroring out of the tar, this one the restore. Go figure. I have 2 HP
Surestore DLT80s they work flawlessly, I bought this as our backup needs
increased to save a little $$$. I should have just bought the damn
surestores.
