It should read,
x:5:respawn:/usr/bin/kdm -nodaemon
and don't forget to comment out the old one.
You will then need a reboot for it to take effect or ask Bob the
incantations to use without rebooting :)

Change the /etc/inittab file to read for the location on the
last line to read /usr/bin/kdm and copy all the rest for that
        line.
I figured it out that the Wine menu wasnt showing up because we
were running it as root and then looking at the menus from the
        user.

For all that missed today's meeting, it was definitely a good
one with Chet turning us on to a copy of Crossover Wine, that
actually works and PRINTS! We ended up getting it to work with
Office 2k, Adobe Photoshop, Quickbooks Pro. Thanks Chet!
I will be testing it with MS Money very shortly and let you all
        know how it went.

Pete can you tell me again how to change the client settings to kde in the log on. I know you modify the inittab file but I forgot what else is involved. As for Crossover Office it does put the applets in the start menu. Its in extras> other. There you should find them.
