this way. With most groups a few will always end up being left with holding the
bag of doing everything and get little input from the general membership. That
is what I see always happens and I can understand why one can say to ones self.
Well if its me then its my way, and you can't blame them. To start a club
or interest group is nothing, but to get input and or participation
is hard to get.

        From the other
side trying to without stepping on toes makes one not want to pitch in. So is
there a need for another LUG?

I think not. Then what about a SIG (special interest
group)? Well maybe, but there are problems, 1 space, 2 lack of membership to
warrant the SIG in the first place. So what can be done about it. Well I think
that this means to work from within and not from without. The answer is to look
at the format and see what needs changing and incorporate changes into the set
program.

If we work it out in this forum and at a meeting one
fine day then maybe we can rethink our agenda and set a possible new one into
action to meet all concerned needs. I
believe that I have offered "an" (not to say the only one!) answer and
would like to see where it leads.

Well that's my two cents.
