Meeting topic (s)

First off, let me say... I just recently signed up to this list, and
I have not attended a meeting yet, but do look forward to it.

It seems to me that Ron is being a bit over-sensitive about this, as
I don't think that anything said was intended with malice.

This says that someone has already offered to do a meeting on kernels,
and if the attendees showed interest, then Pete should probably be
given the lead to do so.

This makes complete sense to me, in general those who attend meetings
SHOULD decide what the topic will be.  After all, they will be the ones
involved in the presentation/discussion.  If your topic has to be put
off until the following meeting because someone already offered to
present a topic, then stand in line and wait your turn.

Seems fair to me.

To indicate that it's NOT a personal attack on anyone, which you seem
to have missed.


Anyway... I look forward to the next meeting, whatever the topic...
