Great, the more the merrier! Here is a link to our map
http://www.nflug.org/meeting.html Just come down Transit Road towards
Amherst. When you get to Main Street (Route 5), turn right, then go down
Main Street, pass over Youngs Road (Route 554) and then you will be in
the picture of the map, go to 115 Richfield, 1:00 this Sunday.
I have worked a bit with Fuji Digital Camera's. They have a nice one,
forgot the model, but it mounted on a Linux box as a SCSI drive, TOTALLY
COOL. One bad aspect of that particular camera is that it chewed up
batteries like crazy.
I have 2 scanners here, one is USB that I know has NO Linux support but
it may have some hope as I have also seen it's underlying hardware does
have some Linux support. I could really use some expert Linux USB help,
so please, all show up! I have done a lot of work on the Desktop side of
Linux and have yet to see or get a scanner to work. And I hate it when
my clients have to go back to M$ to get their scanners and camera's to
work! The other scanner is an old SCSI with an ISA SCSI adapter, not a
typical one though, it looks like a parallel port size cable and only
works in win95, very proprietary, don't have much hope for that one but
it is a good scanner.
Anyway, hope to see you all tomorrow, and bring them USB scanners! I
would love to see one (or mine) actually work!
