Tar and Novell DLT Tapes

Ok that will be no problem, I'd check the documentation. and see what 
the optimum block size is to get the best performance when backing up. 
the DLT 40/80GB is 64K. so when you do the tar do it with the -b for 
blocksize. You can do a man tar for the syntax. My backups went from 5.5 
hours to about 2 hours a tape with the correct block size.  For the 
20/40s it may not make a big difference.
