The problem is probably not the fact that you can't get to 127.0.0.1. It's
probably that there is no listener on port 901. According to Mandrake 8.2
information, swat is supposed to be started by 'xinetd' which means that there
is a configuration file in /etc/xinetd.d called 'swat' or some such that
contains the configuration for swat. Make sure that the line 'disabled' is set
to 'no'. If you have to change it, you have to signal xinetd with: 'killall
-USR2 xinetd' so that it rereads it's configuration files. All should then be
well.

Hope this helps...

Cheers!

Bob
