Quick turnaround question...

the are a number of ways to install solaris. if you downloaded the cd
ISO's from sun you'll need to burn them to disk. the cd's should be
bootable, just like your linux distros so just put them in your machine
and reboot. or there might be images that you write to floppy and then
just boot from floppy. i've never installed solaris8 x86, i've played
with solaris 2.6 and 7 for intel and i had to boot from floppy to start
the install.
