During yesterday's meeting one of the Adelphia technicians spoke about
Adelphia providing higher speed uploads for buisness accounts (home accounts
use a 128Kbps upload).  I spoke with Adelphia's buisness department today
(Kathy) and they stated:

"We have buisness accounts...It costs $99 for installation and $99/mnth.
The upload and download is not faster than the home accounts (ie Both home
and buisness accounts offer the same speeds) but you are still not allowed
to run a server off of the line."

I then began to ask what does one get for the extra $57/mnth (powerlink is
$42/mnth in my area) and she stated:

"If you have problems with the line or connection, you are placed in a
higher priority than the home customers."

Conclusions:

Adelphia does not want anyone to host web pages or run a server because they
want the money for themselves.  Also if you want better customer service
then you have to pay $57/mnth more to get it
