I'm currently using it on 7.2.  It doesn't boot users, it mounts the file
system when it detects that someone is trying to access it (hence the kernel
hack) and unmounts it when attempting to remove the media.  Especially useful
for removable media such as floppies and CDROM.  Would also probably work with
stuff like ZIP/JAZ drives.  Note that if there is still a process whose '$cwd'
is on the removable media, supermount won't help you remove the media from the
drive.
