OK, reeeeally stupid question, but...

If you're unplugging one and plugging in the second, couldn't you just give
them both the same ip address and to hell with the zone transfers?

hello all,

the mailing list may be unavailable for a brief period of time tomorrow
evening starting at 6:00 pm. there should be only a brief moment of down
time while i unplug one sendmail gatway and plug another in, keep your
fingers crossed. once the new machine is up i'll be testing sending
messages to the list, these can you can disregard. the big wait will be
waiting for dns to propigate the MX change.
