Meetings

Sometimes there will be one extra (small monitor) and we end up moving it from
one machine to another, very time-consuming. The best thing to do is bring
your monitor since Linux's X-window system is very monitor specific and we have
had the situation where peoplpe have gotten their system setup at the meeting
and then were unable to make it work at home.

I do know what a pain it is to lug around (Ha - LUG lug - get it?)a monitor. I
have moved both my 15 and 17" to meetings (never the 19"!) and I got so tired
of it I dual-boot my laptop now. BUT we are there to help and we have a
wheeled mail-cart we can use. THere are ramps and elevators so nothign has to
be toted up stairs.

Good luck to all. I will bring one extra monitor (15") which again will most
likely have to be shared among users.
