Time doesn't permity a lengthy response right now but YES Java JDK2 is
installed and operating on my system. I an using Sun's JDK2 as opposed to IBM
(I think). I used a link with very easy to follow instruction from
linuxnewbie.org to actually get Java installed. Then it worked both in
Netscape and as a programming language. There are MANY problems getting it to
work with STAROffice. There are a few web-sites that deal specifically with
getting the two to work and play but I don't have links handy at the moment.
Just do a search for Staroffice AND JAVA and you will get very close to some
answers.

I can now get "Hello world" and the daily national debt to appear as windows in
my browser, next project: take over Redmond with Java scripting HAH

James ad Micah (and anyone else interested in E)

I got the answer regarding the xclock and how to get it to appear with a Pager
as opposed to the default window border. You have to right click on the border
and choose all your options. Then you Rt click and choose REMEMER, there you
get a number of check boxes with all the options it can remember (ie size,
borderstyle, shading status) It should start up then the way you want it (Or
any window shoudl for that matter:-). Kewl stuff
